RSS is a small family owned and operated business run in the heart of the bays. We pride ourselves in knowing that we are providing our customers with the most affordable swimming lessons with fully trained teachers. We are a Swim NZ recognised organisation and have been operating in the bays for almost 20 years! We really are the friendliest swim school on the shore.

Swimming isn’t just fun, it also provides us with a heap of health benefits which can help to keep your children healthy and happy at the same time: Swimming keeps your child's heart and lungs healthy, improves strength and flexibility, increases stamina and even improves balance and posture. Classes

learn to swim through fun tuition

3 months - 3 years

Parent and child together, learning safety, confidence and the incredible fun water can provide. The best possible preparation for independent lesson at the age of three. A fun sing a long session.

3 years - 5 years

Learning to swim with a fully trained caring teacher. Learning correct technique right from an early age while still having lots of fun. Maximum 4 children per class.

5 years+

Using teaching techniques proven in the United States, Europe and Australia to produce strong young swimmers capable of looking after themselves in New Zealand's Aqua-space. Great preparation for those who want to get into a competitive environment.

adult

We offer one on one private tuition for adults to learn to swim, gain water confidence or to help with stroke correction. Adult tuition is the perfect way to maximise your swimming potential, these classes are based on availability and run before 12pm Monday-Friday.

We love Rangitoto Swim School! Our four year old is not very confident in the water and they have been amazing at taking things at his speed and growing his confidence. The teachers are all so great and lovely small class sizes. We have been to other swim schools and I would definitely rate this as the best!

Wonderful professional and caring staff, quiet and private atmosphere. We had a not so positive experience before leaving our child to be scared of swimming. The wonderful staff at Rangitoto Swim School could reverse this at the very first session. She just loves it and pushes her boundaries.
